G4 Anejo Tequila is a premium, aged tequila produced by the El Pandillo Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. The tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is harvested by hand from the fields surrounding the distillery. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, crushed with a tahona (a large stone wheel), and then fermented with natural yeast before undergoing double-distillation in copper stills. The anejo expression is then aged for at least 18 months in American oak barrels, which give the tequila its deep amber color and complex flavor profile. Notes of caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, and cooked agave blend together to make a smooth and balanced tequila that is rich and full-bodied. G4 Anejo Tequila is known for its high quality and has won numerous awards, including a gold medal at the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It is often enjoyed neat or on the rocks and makes an excellent sipping tequila.
